Images are a big part of Event App, Community, and Branded App setup. From event logos to feature icons, this article shows the recommended and required dimensions for each image you can edit in the Socio Platform.

⭐️ Keep in mind, although this article only refers to "events", the same image dimensions apply to Communities, too.

The images you add to your event in the My Events section appear to attendees in the Web App and Mobile App. You can update these images at any time, even after you publish your event.

To add the Logo to your event, simply open your event in the Socio Platform, click the Appearance tab, and upload the images in the Images section.

Square - 1:1 Ratio

  • Minimum - 100px by 100px

  • Recommended - 500px by 500px

  • Maximum - 1000px by 1000px

⭐️ Keep in mind, you must add the logo and cover image before publishing your event.

Cover image 

In addition to the logo, you can add your event's cover image in the Appearance tab.

⭐️ Keep in mind, we don't recommend including text or important information on the cover image since it could appear cropped depending on a user's device and its location within the app.

Rectangular - 2:1 Ratio

  • Minimum - 200px wide by 100px tall

  • Recommended - 1000px wide by 500px tall

  • Maximum - 2000px wide by 1000px tall

Click a feature's Settings (⚙️) icon to upload a custom icon for that feature.

You'll add nearly all of the rest of the icons when you create a new Speaker, Sponsor, Exhibitor, etc. The following screenshot is an example of a custom icon image for a new Sponsor:

Booth cover images

If your Sponsors, Speakers, Exhibitors, or Custom List feature uses the Grid View, you can upload a Booth cover image when you add a new item. Booths come in three sizes: Large, Medium, and Small, and only Large and Medium can have a cover image.

  • Large Booth cover size - 1200px wide by 300px tall

  • Medium Booth cover size - 800px wide by 400px tall

Banners

The Banners layout for your Event App lives on your event's Appearance tab. Scroll to the Banners option in the Layout section and click Manage Banners. Click New Banner in the modal that appears.

The recommended size for banners is 950px wide by 380px tall. Read about uploading banners to learn more.

Required Branded App image sizes

When you create a new Branded App in the My Apps section of the Socio Platform, you're required to upload an icon and two different splash screens. These have strict pixel dimension requirements, which we've outlined below.
