Enable chat for a Live Stream feature or a session to allow users to interact, collaborate and share!
Each session can have a dedicated chat feed. If your event has 15 sessions, you can have 15 unique chat streams. The chat feature lives in the same screen as each live stream, so users can participate in the chat without navigating to another window. Post-event, you can download the chat logs for content ideas, to follow up with attendees, or for lead generation. Users who watch a session stream on-demand will be able to see the original chat logs for a more engaging experience.
Enable Chat for a Session
To enable chat for a session, select to edit a session. Under the Attendee Engagement section of a session, click the Enable Chat toggle to move it to the Yes position. Then, scroll down and click Save Changes.
Enable Chat for a Live Stream Feature
To enable chat for a Live Stream, click Edit on the feature. Under the Attendee Engagement section, click the Enable Chat toggle to move it to the Yes position. Then, scroll down and click Save Changes.
