Account activation is a simple process: you fill out the account application requesting some basic information about your product, your business, and your own personal relationship to your business. You can easily get up and running with Stripe in as little as 10 minutes.

How Stripe integrates with Socio

If your event is a paid event, when setting up Socio's Event Registration after you create your first ticket on the Tickets page, you'll be prompted to connect your event to Stripe.

Click the Connect with Stripe button and a new tab will open. If you already have a Stripe account, click the sign-in option in the top-right corner. Finally, fill out the form in its entirety to connect Stripe to your event.

What currencies does Stripe support?

How often can I get payouts?

You'll receive instant payout, with funds in your bank account as tickets are sold.

What are Stripe's payment processing fees?

  • Credit & Debit Cards have a 2.9% plus 30 cents fee per successful charge. Stripe charges this fixed fee and percentage of the transaction each time you accept a credit or debit card payment.
  • For international cards, add 1%.
  • If currency conversion is required, add 1%.
