The Web App is a read-only web-based version of our Android and iPhone Event Apps. It is designed to function across any device with a browser. This is a great solution for attendees who want to use a laptop, tablet, or simply do not have an Android or iPhone device.
Web App Features
The web app includes all of the Digital Guide functionality that are included in the apps (Agenda, Attendees, Announcements, Sponsors, Speakers, Maps, etc.). This even includes personal features such as building a personal My Agenda, in addition to, bookmarking or taking notes on speakers, sponsors, etc.
However, the social and user based features that require the user to login such as interacting with other attendees, rating or reviewing, posting to the wall are only available to the native Android and iPhone Event Apps. The Web App will prompt any attendees trying to perform these actions to download the app!
Web App for Virtual and Hybrid Events
The Web App is also a great addition to virtual events. Users can easily view Live Streams and Replays while engaging with app features and external links — all in a single window, without leaving the Web App. You can poll your virtual audience in the middle of a session to gather audience feedback and further discussion, or even have them complete an Event Game challenge. All without leaving your Live Stream or Replay! Attendees can even send a link from their mobile device to their email, to quickly switch to a computer for the best viewing experience.
