Create your wall

To create your wall, go to and create a free account, then follow the instructions in their quickstart guide to create a free social wall.

When you get to step 6 of the guide, simply copy the 'Wall URL' on the Settings > Basics page instead of using one of the 'Embed & Display' options.

Embed your wall in Webex Events

Embed with a Web Link feature

If you'd like a dedicated feature in your Event App where folks can interact with the wall, use a Web Link feature.

Simply add the Web Link feature to your Event App, edit it, and enter the URL that you copied in the previous step. Make sure you uncheck the 'Open link in external browser' box so the wall will embed in your Event App's web experience. You don't need to use the Pass 'Data to URL' checkbox.

💡 Keep in mind, to edit the feature name and icon to better reflect your social wall, simply click the feature's Settings (⚙️) icon to make those changes.

Attendees using the web version can interact with your embedded wall content without leaving the Event App.

Mobile App users can click the social wall feature to launch the content in their device's default browser.

Embed with a Custom Tab

If you'd like to use your wall to boost attendee engagement during live streams, consider adding it to your Live Stream feature or Session with a Custom Tab.

When you create a Session or Live Stream feature, expand the 'Attendee Engagement' section, activate the Enable Custom Tab toggle, and paste the link into the 'Website URL' field. Enter a Tab Name so attendees know what to expect when they click on the tab. Click Save Changes, and you're done!

Web users can interact with and post to the embedded social wall in the live stream engagement panel without leaving the live stream or opening a new browser tab.

Mobile App users can tap the Custom Tab to launch the Wall in their device's default browser.

Snapbar integration

If you're using a Snapbar selfie booth in your Event App, you can integrate it with your social wall! Selfies will be pushed to your social wall, either directly on publishing or after approval. Read's Adding Snapbar to Your Wall article for more information.
