About Icebreaker

You can create a fun meeting room using Icebreaker and embed it in your event app!

⭐️ Keep in mind, Icebreaker will only display in the Web App.

Icebreaker is a fun digital tool where you can host virtual meetups and network. Your attendees can match with one another and keep the conversation going with the help of game cards.

Create your icebreaker.video room

To create your room, head to Icebreaker.video, and create an event. There are an enormous number of customization and activity options, so take your time making it just right for your situation. Once you create the Icebreaker event, click the Copy Link button so you can paste it into your Socio event.

Create your Icebreaker feature in Socio

Add a Web Link feature to your Socio event. Edit the feature, and enter the URL that you copied in the previous step. Make sure you uncheck the box for Open link in external browser.

⭐️ Keep in mind, you can change the feature name and icon to better reflect your Icebreaker room! Click the Settings (⚙️) icon to change them.

You’re all set! The Icebreaker room is now embedded in your event app, and attendees can join in without having to leave the Web App.
