About Snapbar

You can easily create a virtual photo booth and embed it in your event app using Snapbar. Snapbar is a browser-based software that allows you to create fully branded virtual photo booths.

You can try their demo booth here, or click here to see the demo virtual booth we created and tricked out with our own color and logo picks.

You can fully customize your virtual booth, including colors, logo, backgrounds, frame, stickers and many more.

⭐️ Keep in mind, only Snapbar's photo booth can be embedded. The Snapbar Gallery cannot be embedded.

💰 Bonus! Reach out to Snapbar to set up an account, and mention you're a Socio customer to receive a discount.

Snapbar resources

There's a lot you can do with Snapbar, so we'll let them handle showing you how. 😁

This slide deck explains how you can design your virtual booth. Check out Snapbar’s informative deck for pricing and available add-ons (pages 4-5).

Snapbar also offers these other cool products:

Virtual Mosaic

Virtual Head Shots

Selfie Stand Rentals

Once you've made your booth, you may receive an iframe snippet. The snippet will contain a URL. Copy ONLY the URL for the booth. The iframe will look something like this:

<iframe src="https://boothname.virtualbooth.co/" allow="camera *; microphone" style="width:100%; height:100%; border:none"></iframe>

Create your Selfie Booth feature in Socio

Simply add a Web Link feature in your event, edit the feature, and enter the URL that you copied in the previous step. Make sure you uncheck the box for Open link in external browser. You don't need to use the Pass Data to URL checkbox.

Screenshot showing the edit web link page with the link filled in and the box mentioned before unchecked.

⭐️ Keep in mind, you can change the feature name and icon to better reflect your social media feed! Click the Settings (⚙️) icon to change them.

Once you add the link, your virtual booth will be embedded in your app and working seamlessly both on the mobile app and the web app. Attendees will be able to take a selfie or upload a photo from their devices and edit their selfies.

You’re all set! Make sure you encourage attendees to post their selfies on the Wall as well as on social media! 🎉
