Does OneStream charge based on the size of my event?
No, you pay OneStream a monthly or annual fee to use their broadcasting software, with pricing based on the features and functionality you need. The number of attendees, or “load,” is handled by the RTMP provider — in this case, Socio.
How many times can I stream?
Every OneStream package includes unlimited live streaming, but if you wish to have multiple streams scheduled at any one time, pick a package that includes multiple queued streams.
Can I use OneStream to replay content that I recorded ahead of time?
Yes, absolutely! OneStream is designed for this purpose and can handle recordings from 5 minutes to up to 8 hours long. You can also choose a package that includes looping, which allows your video to automatically replay within the stream duration.
Which OneStream package should I purchase?
We recommend that you use their free version to play around and make sure it will work well for your event. After that, we recommend the Professional plan, as our customers usually need to stream videos over 1 hour long.
Can I use OneStream for videos that are short?
The minimum length recording that OneStream can broadcast is 5 minutes. If your video is not at least 5 minutes long, we recommend using a software like StreamYard instead.
