Data storage and backup practices
Webex Events is exclusively hosted from an AWS tenant in the USA, and all data stays resident within the USA. We perform continuous disk-to-disk backups to protect against data loss.
GDPR and CCPA
Webex Events is fully General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) compliant.
GDPR is designed to give European Union (EU) citizens more control over their personal data. As a GDPR-compliant business, we make sure that any personal data gathered through our Platform is done so legally and under strict conditions. We protect personal data from misuse and exploitation and respect the rights of data owners. Read about the rules under GDPR for more details.
CCPA grants any Californian consumer the right to know what information we're collecting about them and to request that Webex Events provide access to or deletion of their personal information. Read the full bill to learn more.
